An impartial reflection on the life and acheivements of Mr. Douglas Petrie

Born 1954 in Stirling, Scotland and now living in Munich, Germany, Mr.Petrie
has survived the Hong Kong Flu, the Frey Bentos typhoid outbreak, a number
of rabies scares, mad cow disease, Chernobyl, SARS, Anthrax letters, the Bird Flu,
Margaret Thatcher, Helmut Kohl and singing his own songs.

Although he spent many years in the film and TV industry, Douglas Petrie has never met
anybody called Buffy, nor has he seen a vampire . That's the other Douglas Petrie, the american film director.
Our Mr. Petrie was a sound man, or "Tonmeister" as they say in Germany. Before that he was
in the merchant navy on a BP Tanker called the "British Mariner". He has also been a brush salesman,
a car washer, a civil servant, a customs officer, a bus driver, a wannabe horologist, a fine mechanic and
a more or less but not quite absolutely totally unknown singer/songwriter.
Douglas is now an expert in web design and 3D graphics, as you will see whilst thumbing through these pages.
